The Government Treasury Act is the foundation of management for public treasury activities at all levels of government, facilitating budget execution and achieving the purpose of effective management and utilization of government resources.
In order to strengthen management of the public treasury, the National Treasury Administration is in charge of the planning and management of the national government treasury, as well as the supervising and evaluating the executive performance of the local government treasury. Four major aspects of public treasury management are of storage, revenue and expenditure, fund dispatching, and regulations to ensure the safety of public property, carry out the integration of revenue and expenditure, enhance the effectiveness of financial dispatching and establish a sound management of treasury affairs.
