To improve the efficacy of service, a set of QR Code has been annexed onto the Tobacco and Alcohol Producer or Importer License Permit issued or reissued by the MOF. Through scanning the QR Code, the MOF expects to let printed information on the above-mentioned license permits automatically link to its website to display the “newest dynamic status,” including the number of the license permit, name of the business, name of the responsible person, location of the head office, and issuing (reissuing) or cancelling date, etc. By the new measure, the public can confirm the validity of a license permit, effectively sparing most of the current online search efforts and phone inquiries, and enhance transparency of information. Therefore, it makes the verification of such license permit become more convenient and efficient. Welcome to use it more.
