Subject: Amendments to the requirements for the tobacco and alcohol hygiene inspection laboratories recognized by the Ministry of Finance, shall be effective from January 1, 2015.

Legal Basis: The amendments to Article 14, Paragraph 3 of the Enforcement Rules of the Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act were promulgated on December 22, 2014.

Matters of Announcement: The tobacco and alcohol hygiene inspection laboratories recognized by the Ministry of Finance are as follows:
1. Inspection agencies (entities) designated by the Ministry of Finance.
2. Laboratories certified by the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation according to the inspection methods specified by the Ministry of Finance.
