Article 1
These Regulations are formulated in accordance with Paragraph 2 of
Article 30 of the Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act. These
Article 2
The sale of alcohol may be displayed and exhibited in one of the following 
ways, and must be clearly distinguished from general commodities:
1. Setting up special zones.
2. Setting up special counters.
The special zones or special counters mentioned above shall be
conspicuously labeled as "Alcohol special zones” or "Alcohol special 
counters,” and shall be labeled as “Excessive consumption of alcohol is 
harmful to health” or one of the following, with the font not smaller than 
three centimeters in both length and width:
1. Don’t Drink and Drive.
2. Sale of alcohol to anyone under 18 is prohibited.
3. This establishment does not sell alcohol to anyone under 18.
4. To be safe, don’t drink and drive.
5. Excessive drinking is harmful to you and others.
6. Large quantity intake of alcohol products in a short period of time is 
lethal.
7. Other warnings approved by the central competent authority.
The warning labels referred to in the preceding paragraph may be displayed
with the warning image prohibiting drinking and driving (see attached 
image). However, the warning text in the preceding paragraph 
Subparagraph 1 thereof is required to be displayed together with the 
warning image prohibiting drinking and driving.
The relevant labeling rules of the preceding two paragraphs , must be 
clearly visible to consumers, and may not be moved or concealed by any 
means, and should be fixed and attached to the display area of the alcohol.
Article 3
An alcohol seller shall display alcohol in accordance with the preceding 
article at least one meter from the outer edge of the checkout area. However, 
this restriction does not apply to those displaying alcohol behind the
checkout area.
If the business area is less than six square meters or if it is a sales place for 
vendors, the regulation stated in the preceding paragraph is not applicable.
Article 4
These Regulations shall not be applicable to the places that sell cooking 
alcohol or exclusively provide selling tobacco, alcoholic beverages, and 
related products.
Article 5
These Regulations shall be enforced from January 1, 2015.
