Revised and Added Particulars of Labeling on Alcohol Products.

Subject: Revised and Added Particulars of Labeling on Alcohol Products.

Legal Basis: According to Subparagraph 9, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 5 of Article 33 of the Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act.

 

Matters of Announcement:

  1. The alcohol product should be labeled with the batch number.
  2. The specific particulars of labelling prescribed in the preceding Paragraph is according to Paragraph 5 of Article 33 of The Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act and shall come into force 18 months after the date of their public announcement.
  3. According to Subparagraph 19 of Article 3 of the Sanitation Standards for Alcohol Manufacturers, the batch number is letters, numbers, signs or others, which can be used to trace the data of production time and the production line for each batch of alcohol products. The packaging date or expiration date can be used to trace the packaging date on the labeling of alcohol products can be regarded as the batch number.
