Alcohol producers are welcome to apply for the "Alcohol Products Test Practice Course"
In order to promote the development of the domestic wine industry and enhance the quality control capability of wine producers, the Ministry of Finance, R.O.C. entrusted the Food Industry Research and Development Institute to hold three seminars on "Alcohol Products Test Practice Course" on March 26 to 27, April 14 to 15 and April 21 to 22 in 2020, each a two-day course. Prospective students are the employees of the alcohol producing industry, and the contents of the course includes the introduction and operation of the inspection methods of alcohol content of alcohol, total acidity, volatile acid, fusel oil, solid material, foreign material, total ester, plasticizer, sulfur dioxide, sugar content, salinity, etc. The National Treasury Administration of the Ministry of Finance will subsidize two-thirds of the expense for the course, so that the participants need pay only NT$1,700. The quota is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 in China, the course will be suspended if the Executive Yuan releases information about stopping assembly or training related activities on the start date of the class, and the schedule of the course will be subject to further notice. Those who should be in home isolation, in home quarantine, or are required to conduct self-health management within 14 days of the start of the course according to the Central Epidemic Command Center, or those with symptoms of fever, cough, or upper respiratory symptoms should not attend the course.
