The electronic inquiry services of the NTA have added an NHI card identity authentication mechanism

In order to provide high-quality and convenient services, the electronic inquiry services of the National Treasury Administration (NTA), Ministry of Finance have promoted the use of the National Health Insurance card (NHI card) identity authentication mechanism since July 1, 2019; thus payees not only can use their Citizen Digital Certificate or MOEACA card (company/business certification card issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Certification Authority), but also can choose to use their NHI card to query the payment and reconciliation information on the“Inquiry Service Theme for Payees”of the NTA website. This new mechanism provides diversified reconciliation channels for payees, and achieves the goal of improving the efficiency of inter-agency integration service and information sharing among agencies.
