“Red wood ant” is not listed among Taiwan FDA’s integrated system of raw materials for food as an edible insect or raw material derived from edible insects. As a result, alcohol products that contain “Red wood ant” do not conform to Paragraph 2, Article 5 of the Hygiene Standards for Alcohol Products, and they may not be imported due to being disqualified alcohol.
