Revised and added particulars regarding labeling for alcohol products whose sulfur dioxide residue exceeds 0.25g and is less than 0.4g in every liter of alcohol

Subject: Revised and Added Particulars of Labelling on Alcohol Products.


Legal Basis: According to Subparagraph Nine of Paragraph One and Paragraph Five of Article 33 of The Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act.


Matters of Announcement: 
(1) Where the sulfur dioxide residue exceeds 0.25g and is less than 0.4g in every liter of alcohol, the alcohol product should be labeled as containing sulfur dioxide residue not exceeding 400ppm. (However, if the sulfur dioxide residue does not exceed 0.25g in every liter of alcohol, the above label is not required.) 
(2)The specific particulars of labelling prescribed in the preceding Paragraph is according to Paragraph 5 of Article 33 of The Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act and shall come into force 18 months after the date of their public announcement.
